Scott Jacobs

Mr. Jacobs, Chief Executive Officer for American Patriot Security, Inc. and since the inception of the company in 2004, is a former Law Enforcement officer employed as a Deputy Sheriff for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department for 11 years. During his law enforcement career, Mr. Jacobs was assigned to the correctional facility and North Area Patrol. He acted as a Field Training Officer and was responsible for the training of newly assigned officers to the division. Mr. Jacobs graduated from the University of Phoenix, Roseville in September of 2007 with his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He holds Basic and Intermediate P.O.S.T. certifications as well as having attended over 20 P.O.S.T. certified courses.
Following his Law Enforcement career, Mr. Jacobs had the vision and successfully assisted a small security company of five employees by growing to over 100 employees before merging with another company. From there Mr. Jacobs rose to the rank of Vice-President and was responsible for the day-to-day operations and financial oversight reporting directly to the CEO.
Mr. Jacobs formed American Patriot Security, Inc. and is responsible for the general operation, supervision, and management of a staff of over 75 employees servicing Clients both public and private throughout the States of California, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii. American Patriot Security, Inc. is also a certified 8(a) Minority Owned business (301168) through the Small Business Administration (SBA).
